Our Xero story

We didn’t exactly jump on the Xero bandwagon. We were on it before most of Bendigo knew there was a bandwagon.

2009 We were in the room at some of the earliest Xero events in Bendigo — before we’d even signed up as partners. Early adopters, before early adopting was cool.
2010 G2 Accounting became a Xero partner — back when Xero had around 17,000 users worldwide. (It’s now north of 4.9 million.) Telling a client “your accounts live in the cloud” still got you a very funny look back then.
2017 Xero featured us in their national “Cloud Jumpers” campaign. They went looking around the country for firms that genuinely got it, and pointed a camera at us. You can watch it just below.
2026 Our Alan Giffard represented G2 in Xero’s “Accountants using AI” series, as part of a keynote address. While some firms are still nervously Googling “what is AI”, we were up the front explaining it.
